► Sami has lived in Nimbasa for most of her life, being the eldest of a Hispanic family consisting of two younger brothers and sisters respectively. She takes pride in what she does the best; being a Pokémon trainer. However, with this pride comes hard work and confidence that she considers to be the best and foremost attributes that all trainers should aspire to obtain. When she messes up or thinks she is a failure (which comes naturally when one is in this profession) Sami tends to beat herself up over it.Because of this, many people view her as very hard and harsh on herself, but Sami considers it as merely discipline. She also tends to push her morals on others, and makes them break their limits; which may or may not be a good thing.

Regarding her family, Sami lives with her uncle alongside her brothers and sisters. What happened to her parents Sami knows full well, but she refuses to speak about it in hopes of moving past this, as it is a sensitive topic for her and her family. Their home in Nimbasa is humble, being a smaller house, but her uncle’s workshop is connected to it as well. Ever since she was young, Sami enjoyed watching her uncle fix things in the workshop, and even helps him occasionally whenever the need arises. Whenever she is not doing so, she explores the city, riding on various things (including a skateboard, roller skates, and a bicycle), and even traveling to the stadiums to watch games when she can.

Overall, Sami is a determined trainer who is excited to participate in the Hype with her trusty team.
